Free Music Notes for The Mouse and the MaskFree Music Review: doom does it Hit: 5 StarsNot only are his lyrics funny, interesting and INTELLIGENT, he also has a sexy voice that hypnotizes me while I listen and laugh. Gotta love adult swim for inspiring this one. I'd buy all his albums if he keeps the same style.
Free Music Review: A MUST HAVE ... Hit: 5 StarsThis is quite possibly the best Hip-Hop album of 2005! Sadly, it was overlooked, under-rated and slept on. And just for the record, it's albums like this that prove Nas wrong, Hip-Hop is NOT dead! It has simply gone underground! Know it ... and oh yeah, eat your vegetables.
Free Music Review: it's alright Hit: 3 StarsDanger Doom is alright... nothing too exciting... I thought it would be more up beat but it turned out being a lot more "in your face"... but I'm also not that much into hip-hop.
Free Music Review: It's A Pretty Intense Collaberation... Hit: 5 StarsSo, I bought this after hearing a few tracks, and being a major fan of Danger Mouse, I thought it would be intense, and i wasn't letdown at all.
alot of the tracks are so random and obscure, but still sound amazing.
like Benzie Box, it has a bassy tone, and ghost sounds, something I haven't really ever heard.
And the constant visiting of the ATHF members is also very fun.

Free Music Review: Should've been spectacular, got good instead Hit: 4 Stars After gaining worldwide notoriety with the ceased and desisted Grey Album, Danger Mouse replaced Dan The Automator as producer for the highly publicized Gorillaz sophomore LP Demon Days. As such, he is currently one of underground hip-hop's hottest beat-makers and this will assuredly continue in light of this MF Doom collaboration. Last year, the Madlib assisted Madvillain saw Doom hitting more lists than not so it's safe to assume The Mouse & The Mask is pretty much destined for success. However, with almost every character from the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim receiving prime breakdown and interlude time, Danger Doom is the basic antithesis of the b-movie horror vibe Madvillainy enjoyed, which probably benefited from a more universal appeal as your enjoyment of this DM and MF release will be greatly affected by your attitude towards the likes of Harvey Birdman and Space Ghost.
