This soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard. I went to see the Everest movie at the I-Max and was impressed by the breathtaking scenery. When I bought the soundtrack and listened to the music, I could still see and appreciate the majesty of the mountains. This CD incredibly relaxing without being boring. Get it! It's epic and grand in the tradition of Out of Africa, Lonesome Dove, and Titanic but with a dash of East Indian here and a touch of Native American there. I worked in a Imax theater and i had to see and hear this movie all day and i still went out and got the CD. Its a great movie and a great soundtrack.
