Free Music Review: Don't Buy the Hype!

Vocally, these girls are talented indviduals; yet, together, they are very hit or miss (depending on the song). This album is full of bad song choices that often sounds like a 5-woman singing competition instead of a group. It also seems that DK is still searching for an identity; sometimes they want to be pop, sometimes R & B, sometimes a messy mix of both. I don't like "Damagaed" and that is one of the album's best songs. I wouldn't bother buying this cd; download a few songs before you waste ten dollars. Free Music Review: I loved their new cd

Honestly, I loved this cd. I was kind of skeptical about it considering they are a tv made band, and even though their first cd was great, I just didn't think that they could do it again. I was soooo wrong. These girls are definitely a force to be reckoned with, and they have definitely proven themselves to be more than just Diddy's girls. I think the girls have very good voices. If you pay attention to the songs you can notice that this confluence of voices creates a very pleasant atmosphere and it delights your mind.

If these are the songs they fought so hard to get, I would hate to hear the ones they thought were bad. This album is a complete disappointment. As a fan of the show, and the first album DK put out I was excited to hear the new album, so I bought it. CAN I HAVE MY $12 DOLLARS BACK? It's kind of funny that P.Diddy can go from making records for artists like BIGGIE and Mary J. to these pop star wannabes. If DK wants to be on a tv show that shows their lives as artists, maybe they should make music that someone besides the "tween" demographic would like. All the breathy lyrics and "I'm a bad girl" crap is just too hard to choke down. They should quit while they're ahead, stop embarrasing themselves and STOP MAKING MUSIC!!!!! I was addicted to "MTB," loved their first album, and contemplated buying tickets to their MTB Tour...until I listened to this album. Other than 3 tracks, this album pretty much sucks. Their debut album is much better. Just damaged "Damaged," "Lights Out," and "Is Anybody Listening" online...not worth buying the entire cd.
