Free Music Review: Not worth the listen or the money!!!

To put it plan and simple, vocally and song choice wise, this CD is weak and "Damaged." It lacks any real musical substance. A good CD should grab you from the first note of each song. This one doesn't. All in all the ladies voices are ok, but they have trouble connecting and conveying to the listener what they're trying to sing about. (Maybe because the song lyrics need some help.) To sum it up the CD has no life and is boring and true let down. Their first CD only sold as much as it did because of the MTB3 show exposure and not on its content and their vocal ability. (Buy Day 26's CD instead if you want to hear what a hot CD sounds like.)Free Music Review: I expected more...

I REALLLLLYYYY liked Danity Kane's first album, every track was awesome and the CD could be listened to straight through. Although there are some amazing tracks on this album, a few of the songs are just terrible! "Key to My Heart" hurts my ears, it's just messy, and really shouldn't have been put on this album. Also, some of the interludes aren't that great. EVERY interlude on the last album was amazing and helped the CD to flow. "Picture This" is ridiculous, it is so cheesy, and is probably the worst poem I have ever heard in my life! The "Welcome to the Dollhouse" Intro is bad too, which isn't good if it's the first thing you hear on the album!
That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Maybe if I had never heard their first album then this would have gotten 5 stars, but I am going to hold them to their first album... naturally. To me you should come out stronger, not take a few steps back. There are some very cool songs, but with a few bad ones and silly interludes, it evens out or might be worse than their first release. Maybe Puff shouldn't have made them rush :/
The songs that ARE great are: "Damaged, Pretty Boy, Sucka 4 Love, 2 of You, Lights Out and Is Anybody Listening". I like "Bad Girl" but Aubreys opening line makes me cringe... "Look in my eyes covered in maybelline", really, that's the line?? It's silly...
In their defense, I think it's silly that some people compare DK to the Pussycat Dolls. First off, DK doesn't have like 10 members!!! And second, EVERYONE GETS TO SING IN DK!!!! The Pussycat Dolls only ever had Nicole singing and being in everyshot of their videos. I couldn't name one other member of that group... it actually wasn't a group, it was Nicole Scherzinger and her 9 back up dancers! DK is nothing like the dolls!!
Fans of DK are going to get this album anyways and I think new fans should get it as well, it's not that bad, I just expected a little more...

Ok, I didn't buy their first album. I liked a couple of songs and that was it. But this time around I was more in tuned into really relating to Danity Kane by watching the show. So when this album came out I went out and bought it not knowing what to expect. Well ladies CONGRATS! I think they did an excellent job. I love just about all the tracks. My favorite would have to be "Sucka for love" (Make that your next single!!!) I have one thing to say though, Rick Ross ruined the album. He don't even go with thier vibe at all. I know he probably hot right now but he was a definte NO NO for Danity Kane. I dont even listen to his part (Fast Forward). Overall good job ladies! Free Music Review: Welcome to the Doll House

This is the girl's sophmore album. They got more artistic and wrote a lot of the songs on the album. I found that I liked the songs they wrote better than the songs that were written for them. My fav's are Damaged their first single, I do find it annoying that Diddy has to add himself to the track and talk on the music. It is stupid that he always does that. My favorite song for now is Strip Tease. I just got it two days ago so that could change. Free Music Review: Disappointed

The last album I loved almost every track so I was excited for this album. I watched the Making the Band episodes this season and I knew from the songs they were doing that I wouldn't buy this album, but I ended up doing it anyway. Now I want my $8.99 from the MP3 downlaod back!!! I only like 2 or 3 songs on this whole CD and it's the ones I heard on the show. I've even been listening to the CD constantly almost trying to make myself like the other tracks, but end up skipping thru the majority of them.
I am so embarrassed for them writing some of this garbage. I love Danity Kane and the girls are so likable I just cannot see why they are so proud of this album. People are getting all excited because their album was the #1 album in the country the first week--that's because everyone is running out to buy it thinking it's going to be as good as the first one!!! I sure hope this doesn't end their careers.
