Free Music Review: Elfman and Burton do it again...
Hit: 5 Stars

Elfman is to Burton as Williams is to Spielberg. These two have been together for so long that they have become synchronis in thinking and style.Elfman's interpretation of the Dahl themes in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory seemed flawlessly imaginative with a perfect balance of whimsy and eerie darkness. The perfect combinations to musically express Tim Burton's film concepts. The running joke about the theme song, expressed by both the director and cast holds true,".you can't get that theme out of your head..." Sit back, look and listen, and enjoy the ride. One can only imagine what is next in upcoming "Corpse Bride".

Free Music Review: I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

My favorite Danny Elfman song on this cd is the main titles because it's fast, and wacky-sounding. The rest of it sounds a little bit like caveman music, but the entire album is great! The Oompa-loompa songs are completely different than the way they were in the original. My favorite on that is Veruca's song. Overall, the entire album sounds like another Edward Scissorhands album, but because of this, I think Danny Elfman's orignal score is better than John Williams'. Danny Elfman also does the music for the rest of Tim Burton's movie and it's no wonder he's a grammy award winner! Highly recommended.

Free Music Review: DANNY IS BACK!
Hit: 5 Stars

i am a big fan and this is my favorite score and that is saying a lot as NIGHTMARE is brilliant. new songs! vatos(boingo's drummer) is gotta be pining to play MIKE TEAVEE. what an amazing song. the stars dont allign in this much genius forfilled very often. bravo tim and danny! only complaint is that the soundtrack cues should've been in the same order as the movie. if you like trippy, beatles influenced psychedellia this is for you. and danny gets to use his world music influences with some cues. if you like smart lyrics and haunting harmonies buy this album!

Free Music Review: Danny Elfman is Back!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great movie CD. The opening song is one that will stay on your mind long after you are finished listening to it.

The songs about the other children are very different in type. They range from a 70's style to a rock to classic Oingo Boingo. Danny Elfman really shows his style with this album. You can just imagian "Dead Man's Party" when you listen to this album and some of the songs. It made me want to listen to some old Oingo Boingo.

If you ever like Danny Elfman music, this is a great CD to buy. I highly recommend it for all.

Free Music Review: Elfman Returns
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is INCREDIBLE! It is quirky, funky, moving, epic, and all those other adjectives people use when describing great musical efforts.

The first five tracks are great. Elfman totally uses every ounce of his talent in these tracks, singing like a nut, and writing away like one to.

The remaing tracks (6-21) are reminiscent of past efforts, such as, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Edward Scissorhands."

If you enjoy Elfman's eclectic style, as I do, and apprieciate this kind of music, this album is totaly for you.
