Free Music Notes for Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

Free Music Review: Wonderful in Every Way
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack, and movie for that matter, has quickly jumped to one of my all time favorite soundtracks (and films!!). The best way to explain this soundtrack is delightfully creepy, amazing, and slightly original. (I say this because, yes, I agree it reminds me of all of Danny Elfman's other work, but it is great nonetheless!) I could listen to this CD 24/7 and still enjoy it just as much as the first time. This is a must have for any Elfman fan or any music fan for that matter. Truly amazing. QUICK! BUY IT NOW BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY GRAVE MISTAKES!

Free Music Review: FANTASTIC!!!!! GET IT!
Hit: 5 Stars

If you like alternative, old school rock, Indian music, classical...Well, you name it, this CD ROCKS! Danny Elfman really busted loose on this one! When I saw the movie; which was really good, I knew before half the way through: I had to have this soundtrack. The style is varied enough in each song so as to keep the listener hooked...no matter how many times they listen; at first groovy, then industrial, mysterious then to booty-shakin good fun...give this a listen, if you haven't already. I'll be listening to this for years to come....

Free Music Review: One of the Best!
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been a Danny Elfman fan every since Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Not only did I absolutely LOVE the movie, but Elfman's score added so much to the film.

I really would have desired the music to be in movie order (instead of the catchy kid's tunes first). Danny does a wonderful job of different style for each kids song, August Gloop, Violet Beauregard, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee. Veruca's song being my fav of the 4.

I highly recommend this CD to anyone, even a newbie to Danny's Elfmans world.

Free Music Review: I Could Listen To "Main Titles" Over And Over...
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack is amazing. It's pretty much been stuck in my car CD player since the movie came out. "Main Titles" is the best composition that Elfman has ever done. I absolutely love the Oompa Loompa songs, they are so much fun. "Wheels In Motion" is another favorite along with "The Boat Arrives." And to top it all off, "Wonka's Welcome Song" will be stuck in your head for the rest of your life after you listen to it even one time. I highly recommend this soundtrack to anybody who loves Danny Elfman's music.

Free Music Review: Awesome
Hit: 5 Stars

Considering that Charlie & The Chocolate Factory is a new version of the Dahl' book and not a remake of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, the music (using Dahl's own words) is amazing. I'm a big fan of Elfman from his Oingo Boingo days and this is nothing short of amazing. Using different styles of music to tell each child's story was incredible. From the brazilian sounding "Augustus Gloop" to the 60's sounding "Veruca Salt", you can listen to this soundtrack over and over.
