Free Music Review: A new take on a classic
Hit: 5 Stars

Kid friendly album? Well that depends on the age and tastes of your child. This version of the movie soundtrack is VERY different! So many different styles of music are represented here. There are many instrumental tracks, and the ones that are sung use today's artists such as Amy Lee, Korn, and yes, Marilyn Manson -now whatever else you think of that guy, I have to say he pulls off his song just PERFECTLY!. The whole idea of the movie was to portray something just a bit, er, dark (for lack of a better word), and I believe this version of the soundtrack really gets to that aspect. My own kids *love* the song performed by Korn. I like them all. The mix is diverse enough that it makes you come back to it again and again.

Free Music Review: This is incredible!! Don't miss out on this experience!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow. This is truly an amazing cd! It reinterprets the original songs while still preserving their original integrity, and certainly honors the Nightmare legacy. Seriously, there are so many stand out performances on this cd; Marilyn Manson is incredible, the All American Rejects are pitch perfect, Plain White T's are surprisingly strong, and I might even prefer Amy Lee's "Sally's Song" to the original. Really, give this a cd a chance, you won't be disappointed!

Free Music Review: Dream Come True
Hit: 5 Stars

I had to have this album after hearing the Marilyn Manson cover of "This is Halloween". After hearing Amy Lee's version of "Sally's Song" though, the two above mentioned songs are tied for my personal favorites on the album. ALL the songs are simply amazing, and this album is a definite dream come true when it comes to excellent names covering excellent songs.

Free Music Review: A must have.
Hit: 5 Stars

Even if you don't like the movie, you should buy this album. The covers are excellent, especially if you enjoy the singers/artists.

My favorites are Marlyn Manson's cover of "This is Halloween",Amy Lee's,from Evanescence,"Sally's Song" and Lacey Mosley's,from Flyleaf, cover of "What's this?".

Free Music Review: A must have!

Such a great album! I don't normally buy things like this but Sally's Song by Amy Lee was worth everything I paid for the album and more! All songs keep the integrity of the original in perspective as none seriously stray too far from the movie version. Take a listen, you might just have yourself wanting a copy.
