Wondering where Darren Hayes is? The Savage Garden front man shows us here. The amazing album showcases the talents of this underated artist. Gorgeous, painful songs, release all of our deepest thoughts worries, and emotions in a heady reflective album. Added in some fun singalong songs reminiscent of SG.A true showcase to this mans unparalleled vocal talent. Dont miss this album, one of the best albums ever to not be well promoted. What a waste, dont miss this!

Free Music Review: Clever pop oozing with killer vocals and engaging textures Hit: 5 Stars
Darren Hayes. That name may mean nothing to you. Or it might mean the over-the-top bleeding heart falsetto romance of Savage Garden's ballads (Truly Madly Deeply, I Knew I Loved You), or a blink-and-you-missed-it stint with his first solo album SPIN.Seeking to evolve from his pop pedigree, Hayes licked his wounds in his San Franscisco home recording studio, holed up with Robert Conley of the synth/techno outfit Specificus. The evolution has resulted in a set of shimmering, pulsing, gut-wrenching tracks that alternatively move your feet and slap you in the face. Clever lyrics. Cheekiness. Confessionals. Unapologetic sensuality and dead sexy beats. Hayes abandones his trademark falsetto to growl and purr amidst synth fuzz, ambient noise and distortion. It's still pop. But damn, is it good.
Free Music Review: Hands Down A Genius Piece of Work!!! Hit: 5 Stars
All I can honestly say about this recording is.. BUY IT! If you are at all in any way a fan of Darren Hayes and/or Savage Garden, this is a hands down definite must have. I was completely sucked in to it's simple complexity (if that makes any sense) --It's truly a ride in itself and a treat to the ears. I find him incredibly talented and admire him more so on this effort as he was able to get into building the foundation of its sound to his own liking and what HE wanted rather than that of the label and its producers (and it shows) --BUY THIS CD! You won't be disappointed. It's upbeat, it's mid-tempo, it's down-beat, and all the way through very melodic.. It is quite honestly a well rounded disc with an array of styles, arrangements, use of vocals, etc.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED ALL OF IT!
Free Music Review: Better than the last one! Hit: 5 Stars
I have been a fan of Darren since Savage Garden days, this CD is not supposed to be released until September 13th, but I borrowed it from a friend that downloads a lot. The first track 'Darkness' is amazing and sets the tone for the whole album. There is more mixing and techno than in his previous works which I normally don't like but it flows well with his voice. I like him because of his beautiful voice and amazing ability to write. I think this collection of songs shows a more personal side of Darren and the emotions conveyed through the songs are ones most of us can relate to. All the songs are great, the weakest one is actually Popular, the first single. It was a good release as the first single since it is catchy but I think the other songs are better. Two thumbs up!
Free Music Review: Out of the Darkness and Into the Light! Hit: 5 Stars
A close friend of mine came across Darren Hayes one day and posted his song, Darkness, onto his webpage. With my years of venture into various types of music, I knew from the start what kinds of feelings and emotions this song and CD would stir. I heard much about how good he is with his lyrics and singing. Every word holds true; his songs are more than just songs about his feelings. They are the words of truth and honesty that goes beyond many songs of its kind. I was personally moved by his song, Darkness, for the words speak of an undebatable truth that brings the whole perspective of life into a focus more clearer than ever. There is honesty and truth to his words that isn't too commonly found in other aspiring artists like Darren himself.
