Free Music Review: "REAL" (Traditional) Country is coming back!

Most of the new artists out there are trying to sell us on this "New" Country sound but not Darryl Worley. His debut album "Hard Rain Don't Last" is a great example of traditional country making a come back. One of the many impressing elements of this album is that Darryl wrote 10 out of the 12 songs on this album. This goes to show that Darryl Worley is not only a talented singer but a great song writer. "Hard Rain Don't Last" is the type of album you could listen to for days on end. All the songs are great, it is hard to pick a favorite out of so many great songs. His first single, "When you need my love", is a great song that really puts forth his vocal talent and is a personal favorite song of mine. To me this album shows us who Darryl Worley really is. It shows that he is a hard working, simple, caring, and honest man. I feel that most people can relate to all of the songs on this album. The songs on this album are all about real life. "Those less fortunate than I" is a really great song that tells about the cold hard truth about our society and tells of how we should all help out those who are less fortunate than us. It is a great song and almost a tear jerker. This album has many upbeat tunes mixed with a few slower tunes. It is a perfect mix of just the right songs. I recommend this album to everyone. If you like "traditional" country this is a definitely an album for you. If you are a "new" country fan I still suggest that you buy this album because once you listen to it you will be hooked on the awesome voice of Darryl Worley.
