The music is the perfect backdrop to a magnificent faerie tale. I went to sleep with this music in my head as a child and still know every word as an adult. It's a great cd with excellent sound quality. It's just a shame it has to be so expensive because an American distributor won't pick it up....Ironic that a soundtrack by a band named America is an import only.Free Music Review: Words are inadequate to describe this CD.

I watched this movie as but a child, and even to this day, the music makes a grown man break down and cry. It's melodies are a touch of heaven. I had thought a music CD 'eternally' beyond my grasp. I searched hear, expecting nothing, and recieving everything. It is all that and a box of chocolates, made for little boys and girls and adults like you and me. When the music plays over and over again in your head and you don't want it to stop, you know it is time to put it there in writing and buy it to add to your waking and bedtime sounds. I saw this movie for the first time, I can't even remember when. And now, at age 16, I still cry whenever I hear any of these songs. Each of the songs sum up the movie, its story, its message so well. It leaves a haunting, indescribable feeling with you. Goodness gracious, thank the Lord for Peter S. Beagle who wrote the book The Last Unicorn! It's a great storyline which totally enhances the film. The music, is by far, extremely inspiring and lovely. I first saw the movie when I was a young child of 6 years old and years later I still love and cherish it dearly.
