The CD is really good and it was a plus that it came with a DVD,
I am a big Depeche Mode fan so buying Paper Monsters, I wondered if I would like it, I sure did,Its not Depech, but in a way better, I really really like the DVD, Its to the point and not way out there like some music DVDs.
The songs seem to tell a lot about Mr.Gahan's ups and downs,
He seems to be on top now, Good for him, He's worked hard enough for it. All in all good CD and DVD

I love this album .. Always I have been a big fan of David, his deep voice is perfect also, it is very soothing to hear Dave's voice in songs such as "I Need You", "Hold On", and "Bitter Apple""Dirty Sticky Floors", "Black and Blue Again" and "Bottle Living" are brilliant ..
A Wonderful Masterpiece for Mr Gahan!!! I can't wait to see if he comes out with another !

A very lovely album. Looks like a retrospective into Dave personality over his own past and renaissance. "Dirty Sticky Floors" is logic prolongation of Songs of faith and Devotion tunes. "I need You" is other classics DM sounding. In overall a very good effort thats sounds very very positive to me. Looking fwd for a live performance.Free Music Review: Dave does it again!!!

Dave Gahan's first solo album really proves that Depeche Mode did not make him, that he made himself. "stay" is awesome...and "I need you" is a classic tempo of a DM song.I have to say he out did Martin Gore's solo attempt.
The album is a must have for any DM fan!
