I love this CD now as much as I loved the barf platter back then...
as far as Clapton goes, it sounds like he's doing the wah-wah solo on "Shouldn't Have Took More Than You Gave", not playing on "Look At You, Look At Me" as has been mentioned before... plus the great organ solo on "World In Changes" would likely be either Steve Winwood or Don Preston (of the Mothers) and not Billy Preston as someone mentioned many reviews back...
I'm glad I have this back after missing it for many years!!

2008 digitally remastered edition of the debut solo album from the singer, guitarist and founding member of Traffic. The writer of many of Traffic's early classics including the timeless and much-covered 'Feelin' Alright?', Mason was the first to leave due to the classic 'musical differences. Moving to the U.S., his first solo album was one of the many recordings to come out of the Leon Russell/Delaney & Bonnie axis in 1969/1970. Alone Together contains excellent, tightly constructed Pop songs, redolent of his singles for Traffic, albeit extended in the then new style, built on a fat bed of acoustic guitars with tasteful electric guitar accents. Mason's vocals are embellished with harmonies from Rita Coolidge, Claudia Lennear and Delaney & Bonnie. Rev-OlaJapanese Limited Edition Issue of the Former Traffic Guitarist's Solo Debut Album Classic from 1970 in a Deluxe, Miniaturized LP Sleeve Replica of the Original Vinyl Album Artwork. That Means that the Foldout is Exactly as the First Issue Was, with Mason's Head Die-cut on the Inner Portion. The Disc Itself features a Marble Design on the Label, Recalling the Original Marble Coloured Vinyl of the First Limited Edition LP. Just One of the Great Albums from the Early Part of the 70's to have Come from the Friends Nexus of Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett (Including Leon Russell and Eric Clapton).
