Free Music Notes for Live at Folsom Field - Boulder, ColoradoFree Music Review: wow Hit: 5 Stars
this is a nice change up from previous live albums.... live at chicago was great, but only released one or two new songs live.... here a nice blend of busted stuff songs, everyday (which does offer some better versions live than the studio especially what you are and everyday 36), as well as some oldies including recently..... but what makes this cd great is its encore with a smashing two step into ants marching..... keep releasing these live albums dmb... they capture you all in true form....
Free Music Review: The Best of What's Around Hit: 5 Stars
DMB absolutely shines on this disc! It is one of their finest recordings thus far. They're not alone either - the lovely ladies are with them as well as Butch Taylor. It's almost impossible to pick a favorite track ... I love JTR, Angel, and Watchtower on this disc. Oh, I've been in love with DMB for years now and have hundreds and hundreds of shows as well as their studio stuff. I'm telling you, you will NOT be disapointed with this one!! (DAVE, if you're reading this..I LOVE YOU!!!!)
Free Music Review: Unreal Hit: 5 Stars
By far the best Dave Matthews Band CD. Recorded at a great venue for their music. All the songs on this CD were great with excellent energy. You can definately feel the energy of the crowd in this CD. Excellent renditions of 'Warehouse' 'Crash Into Me' and 'Angel' are followed by the excellent energy of 'Two Step' 'All Along the Watchtower' and 'Ants Marching.' Live at Folsom Field is a must have for any Dave Matthews Band fan and serves as a great example of their music for new listeners.
Free Music Review: Good Stuff! Hit: 5 Stars
DMB Live at Folsom Field is excellent...another fantastic live album. Half of the tracks are culled from their most recent studio efforts, Everyday and Busted Stuff...and it's nice to hear those songs done in a live setting, where DMB excels. The unreleased track "JTR" is one of the highlights, and its chorus fits perfectly with the rainy conditions that were present...in fact, all lyrical mentions of rain got a big rise out of the crowd. Definitely check this out!
Free Music Review: No Regrets Hit: 5 Stars
Having been a DMB fan for over a decade, this CD set is a great purchase. The live recording is amazing and just adds to the music. The versions of Crash into me, Everyday, Angel, Warehouse and Digging a Ditch are wonderful. This will be in my CD player for a long time. and with two CDs i can have one at home and one in the car... and not get tired of any of it. It's a great collection, and i agree that DMB only gets better in their live recordings...
