Free Music Notes for The Central Park ConcertFree Music Review: One of the BEST concert DVDs ever! Hit: 5 Stars
If you want a concert DVD, pick this up! Great music, a great live show, great quality and enough Dave to satisfy the biggest fan. A really nice setlist including "Two Step" "Dancing Nancies" "Ants Marching" "Jimi Thing" among others. Great jamming and some wonderful covers like "All Along the Watchtower" as well as "Cortez the Killer" featuring Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule/Allman Bros. If you want to see one of the greatest live bands at their best, buy this DVD!
Free Music Review: What e Gem Hit: 5 Stars
By far one of DMB's most incredible performances. The band's sound on this one is unique and the stuff they come up with is mindblowing. Highlights are: Crush, Two Step, Ants Marching and Watchtower. I have to say that the version of 'Crush' is out of this world - I listen to it every day. Your DMB collection is very lacking without this concert, and if you're passionate enough, buy the DVD - you'll be glued to your set for 3 straight hours!
Free Music Review: Unbelievable Live Music Hit: 5 Stars
If you have ever even remotely enjoyed DMB on record, then pick up this album. Their energy while playing live will blow you away. The ingenuity displayed by DMB is a certain quality that has been missing in rock since the greats- Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin. The band's live performance often invites comparison to Paul Simon with a darker edge. Pick up this CD adn you will be instantly hooked. I swear.
Free Music Review: Has DMD ever let us down? Hit: 5 Stars
Once again, DMB has proven why they are one of the top national acts to experience live. This 3 disk live show is one of the best that they have put out. The flow of the songs is perfect, and the quailty and production is wonderful. If you are a die-hard fan, or someone who is new to DMB, I would highly reccomend it. Not a bad track on it! With it's release just in time for Christmas, this should be on everyone's wish list.
Free Music Review: Nice Concert Hit: 5 Stars
This concert was one of the best ever put on by the Dave Matthews Band. It is longer, more exciting and has more jamming than any of the other previously recorded concerts. The Live in Central Park CD has some excellent jamming -- particulaly in the middle of Two Step and Ants. The 3 Disks get kind of annoying to swap every 30 - 40 minutes but it's not that big of a deal and the music definately makes up for it.
