The quality of the audio on this CD is absolutley astounding, when played on a surronded sound system, it sounds like you are in Central Park at the concert. I have seen Dave Matthews Band 7 times in concert, I did not go to the Central Park concert but had close friends who did, buying this CD is essentially buying yourself a ticket to the concert. Not only is it filled with some of their best work, but some funny "Dave speaks" humor, lots of improv (New York, New York), lyric changes, and skatting. If you couldn't make the concert or are a fan of any of the Dave Matthews Band work, than this CD is absolutley for you!Free Music Review: Best Live CD

This is, without a doubt, the best DMB live CD out there. The recording quality, first off, sounds more like a recorded live show than a studio version with cheering in the background and a variation of the songs. Secondly, the intensity level of each song on this CD is incredible. Watchtower is absolutely amazing, Cortez The Killer is incredible, and every other song is played with such an amazing amount of intensity, which is always present at the shows, but doesn't come across as well in the live CDs. This is the triple disc Cd conterpart to the DVD, The Dave Matthews Band live at Central Park. It is packed with 20 songs, including DMB classic's through 2003. It contains the original line-up of Dave Matthews, Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, LeRoi Moore, & Boyd Tinsley. Also, it includes the guest musicians of Butch Taylor on keyboards & Warren Haynes (a guitar player & member of the Allman Brothers Band & his own band Government Mule). This is a "landmark" concert. I think there were around 80,000 in attendance. Anyway, this is some great "live" music, and I highly recommend it. pretty cool live show by the best jam band around. i've been a big DMB fan since 1996 and know pretty much all their live stuff. the set list is great, but since this is the latest in a series of live releases i was hoping for some more new tunes, or older ones that haven't been released on any official live album yet like Pig and Song That Jane Likes. they could have played some more new stuff and kick out some of the older material. but, nonetheless, DMB is absolutely awesome, as always, so Central Park is definitely worth buying and a must have for any real DMB fan.Free Music Review: Dave and the band at their best

I have a lot of dave's live albums and i believe that this one is the best of them all, the song selection is the awesome and there is so much energy packed into all three ours of this incredible concert. There is no comparison of DMB live and on record. I think that dave matthews is has one of the greatest stage presence of any other artist of the time, and he has some of the best musitians with him in the band, and he and the band put on an incredible show. This three disc set is some of the best live music you can hear. An all around awesome recording.
