If you look at the track listings for the other live CDs, you will see they are all very similar. This set brings in songs that have never been on a live CD before. In fact the majority of these songs have never been on a live album before! It's like I've discovered DMB all over again!A new, clear sound on the CDs makes you feel as if you were at "Heaven's Ampitheater" on these three nights. The DVD is great and provides more features than the free DVD included with "Busted Stuff."
Bottom line, this set owns.
For all the diehard fans, if you go to the official site, you can actually get a special edition 6 DISC box set, including all three nights uncut and recorded in its entirety. I have this as well and it is a great set--just about every DMB song ever played.
Free Music Review: The Gorge cds are the BEST!

I am one of the biggest Dave Matthews fans ever! I have evry cd, but just over the summer I got The Gorge cds from my friend. I have all six cds and they are all awesome. Even though each cd only has about eight to twelve songs, the fact that they are live definitely makes up for it. Each cd has a good mix of the music and sounds incredible.
It was hard to choose my favorite cd because Dave Matthews has so many out. However, I decided on The Gorge because it has a ton of good songs combined together to form six cds that can not compare to any other live cds. The Gorge is so good that I suggest anyone who is dave fan to buy these cds. I would not be writing this review if I did not believe these cds were the best!
Free Music Review: For anyone....you have to hear this album and the DVD

I never had a favorite band for a long time, then one day it happened, Dave Matthews Band got me and has kept me. This CD and DVD are a testament to that. I know some will not think it is their greatest, but compared to what is out there now, DMB is still the best of what's around. The music is top notch, not all my faves, but still great. I am falling in love with Lie In Our Graves. The DVD makes me want to see them at the Gorge someday. But for now, I will have to enjoy their incredible concerts from DVD and the few times I can catch them near KC. Their music is for everyone. This CD and DVD is a great idea for both the die hards and the casual and a wonderful promo for The Gorge. Beautiful setting and great band.Free Music Review: Another Brilliant Live Release!

Although, there is no other substitute or better CD than the Dave/Tim live record, this CD contains some fine full band playing. Boyd,Leroi,Carter,Stefan and Dave killed this one. The whole weekend had to be a blast. I am probably one of the only Dave fans to never have been to a concert. one day i'll get that experience. Happily, there is by far the best version of Halloween ever, as well as a ton of fun going on in the music CDs. the sound and picture of the dvd is killer as is the music on the CD's. I have and always will commend the band for being able to keep people happy while working hard to make another great studio album! Keep supporting this amazing band!Free Music Review: Zing Control

Oh to go one on one with the mighty Zingster, the hater of all that is DMB. Hatred that seemingly should be reserved for the marginally talented group of teeny-bopper pop stars. Come to me Zingy and let me ease your pain and redirect your misplaced hostility.
Live at the Gorge is fabulous, but what else would you expect. For a band, it's hard not to absorb the energy of this venue and make it work for you. As a regular concert goer of the Gorge at George, I think the DVD captured the essence quite nicely, although I would have prefered less quick cuts and more relaxed dissolves. Also why not more songs on the DVD?
