Free Music Review: Absolutely Stellar!
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow,I just bought this cd today and it is SO SO SO good. I mean I've been a Dave fan for awhile I remember like all the popular songs but just recently I started buying the cd's I've bought to cd's in the past 2 days and I plan on buying 2 more Friday but that's beside the point. This is totally a cd that everyone needs to have in their collection. "Satellite" "#41" and "Lover Lay Down" are my favorites but the whole cd is good Ohhhhh and "Crash Into Me" gosh I wanted to cry when I heard the acoustic version I totally got chills. Dave's voice is BEAUTIFUL! The only thing that took away from dave's beautiful voice was this stupid girl who kept screaming during "Satellite" other that, all I can say is MAGNIFICENT. Guys and Girls if you never own another DMB album please be sure that you have this one. I paid 24 dollars for it at an Independent Mom and Pop store and it is worth EVERY cent!

Free Music Review: There's Nothing Like Live
Hit: 5 Stars

I am tired of people refusing to go to live concerts because "they have the CD." How many times will it have to take to convince nieve music fans out there that the concert is nothing like the CD? If you don't have the bucks to go see one, the next best thing is to buy the live recording. I now own every single DMB CD in existence and I still have to say that the two best ones are Live at Red Rocks and this CD in review, Live at Luther College. I have to admit that I missed the rest of the band, it would be a treat to listen to them play never released songs such as Granny and Deed is Done, but Tim Reynolds more than makes up for the loss. When you listen to Tim play, its like he is playing 3 guitars at once, that's how good he is, seriously. Do not be decieved by the fact that this CD is live or is only performed by two musicians. It still has that DMB flavor that makes you want to sing and dance.

Free Music Review: This album deserves more than five stars easy
Hit: 5 Stars

This is acoustic guitar playing at its very best. Tim Reynolds is simply mind-blowing, and Dave is mind-blowing with is spruced-up guitar riffs and still singing in his trademark, beutiful voice.
Some songs like Crash Into Me stay pretty similar, but he did an awesome job with songs like #41 where, since he's missing key parts Tim plays jaw-dropping solos while Dave gives the chords a new taste. What Would You Say on this album, in my opinion is even better than the original recording.
I play guitar, and I love this album to death. Before I played guitar, I loved this album amost as much. It is a god fall-asleep to album.
This was the first Dave album I bought, so when I heard the real versions of some of the songs it was wierd. He totally transfromed the songs, yet was able to keep them strangely the same.
You should definetly check this one out, the two CDs are two of my favorites.

Free Music Review: I can't get enough of this cd!
Hit: 5 Stars

Dave Matthews, and Tim Reynolds have put together an album of all of our favorite Dave songs... live in concert! Twenty three of the songs we love to hear, and can't stop singing. Acoustic and beautiful... this cd is a treat!

I am a huge Dave fan, and above all other of the albums I definetly recommend this one. Not only does it contain the Dave Matthew's 'favorites' such as "Crash into me", "Satellite", "Ants Marching", etc. but it contains songs never released on previous DMB albums, but some of the songs thrown in for a treat at Dave's famous concerts.

Not only will you be blown away by Tim Reynolds' guitar skills while backing up Dave... he also gives an amazing, and unique solo called "Stream". This is a wonderful cd, containing not only great music, but a few of the quirky comments Dave loves to thrown in at his concerts. We love you Dave!

Free Music Review: Live How It Should be
Hit: 5 Stars

The true mark of an excellent musician is hia ability to perform live. And to make things scarier try a live acoustic concert. Why? The small crowd requires a level of intimacy (working the crowd) that most performers just can't pull off. If you have any doubts about Dave, just check out his performance on VH1 Storytellers. Second, the live set is where you find out just how much talent the performer has musically. There's no hiding behind the magic and technology of a recording studio (unlike the vast majority of today's pop stars). Finally, you get a rare chance to see a little creativity with the music (and this one has a lot). It is an art and Dave is a master.

This CD is a sample of Dave at his best. My only regret is that he and Tim do not do more shows together like this. This is my all time favorite CD. I have had is for 3-4 years now and still listen to it at least once a week.
