Free Music Review: A Brilliant Overall Performance
Hit: 5 Stars

Live at Red Rocks is probably the DMBs strongest release. All I can say is that I would give anything to have been there to experience this show first hand. It has all of their best earlier songs, and each one is a strong performance. This CD leaves no weak links; there is no song one is inclined to skip. The musicality and energy of it, combined with feature performances by each band members make Live at Red Rocks the most important CD to your "Dave" collection; if you are only going to get one, this one is the one you can play over and over again. I especially like this CDs version of Seek Up, Tripping Billies, and Drive in Drive out (the drums are incredible).

Free Music Review: 5 stars, no doubt, NO questions asked
Hit: 5 Stars

Words really can't describe the magic that is immersed in every track of DMB's Red Rocks double CD release. Through "Live at Red Rocks", DMB is able to show its raw talent and its place in today's music world as one of the best, if not THE best, live bands. As far as compilations go, the first CD emphasizes the BEST of DMB (minus Jimi Thing), and the second compliments the first wonderfully, with such performances as Drive In Drive Out, Ants Marching and DMB's electrifying take on All Along the Watchtower. Easily one of the most pleasant auditory experiences money can buy, Red Rocks will go on my shelf with the few CDs that I don't lend to anyone EVER.

Free Music Review: "Red Rocks" Positively Sparkles
Hit: 5 Stars

The Ultimate DMB Recording! Everyone I mention this CD to, if they've heard it at all, they always nod their heads knowingly and say, "Now THAT is a goooood CD." The renditions of these songs are the best I've ever heard (especially "Dancing Nancies", "Warehouse", and "Rhyme & Reason"), and the performance just captivates you. The live audience, too, is so responsive that it's hard to resist the contagion of their enthusiasm. Please, if there's any doubt as to whether you should puchase this album, dispel it from your mind! You will not regret it. In fact, you'll find yourself wishing you'd been there.

Free Music Review: The only way to fly!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Only one thing prevents me from being the fan I would like to be, "The Atlantic Ocean", living on my side of it makes the chance of seeing Dave play live rather scarce. I therefore have to rely on live cd's, the only problem is that there aren't enough out! Let's all push Dave to do what Eddie and the boys from Pearl Jam did, and release a cd from every show. We all know they would sell, and all us poor English would just have to close our eyes, and dream to be there. In a roundabout way that of itself is my review of this album, amazing musicians playing at the top of their game, buy this cd, you won't regret it for a minute.Peace and Love.

Free Music Review: WOW!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

What can we say? DMB delivers live, and this album proves it. From the versatility of Boyd's fiddle (which including the plucking in #36 and Two Step and the manic sawing in Nancies and Warehouse) to the PHENOMENAL guitar solos of Tim Reynolds in Watchtower and #36, to the intimate and distinctive voice and guitar playing of Dave, this album is a must-have for any fan (and most fans probably own it anyway) and is guaranteed to make new fans. The revamping of many of the songs from Under the Table and the introduction of the new songs, as well as a few older, unreleased ones, makes this not only a live album but also a best-of. BUY IT!
