Free Music Review: Best Pop Album of 2008!!

I must say David Archuleta is a vocal superstar and was meant to record pop music. From the moment I heard CRUSH, I know he on to something--big! Now, that I have heard the whole album I am more blown away by this soon-to-be 18 year old man. Not only does he have the gift to sing well, but write songs well too. One of the songs he wrote is my favorite on the whole CD, ("A little Too Not Over You"). The first time I heard the full track, I could immediately relate to the lyrics. Who hasn't seen their ex lover with someone else and still have strong feelings for that person? I sure have.
"Angels" is another great track, which he sung on AI. It is a beautiful ballad about loving angels when it is hard to love another human being. Everytime I hear this song, I cry. That is how powerful his voice is.
I love this whole record and can't wait to recieve my physical copy for christmas. :) He will be the next big thing in pop music. I can feel it in my bones!!

I watched David on AI, and it was very clear how talented he is, so I had no doubts as to the quality of his voice on his new cd. I wasn't sure though what the quality of the songs would be like considering his age and appeal. I was so surprised by the song tracks, that I have already listened to it so many times. The flow of songs on this cd fit great together. The songwriting is not too young for the more mature listener, nor is it too mature for the younger crowd. Some stand out songs are, Crush, Touch My Hand, You Can, Desperate, and, Your Eyes Don't Lie. Those are some of my favorites, but don't let that take away from the listening pleasure of the other titles. I feel like this is a quality cd for any music lover, not just a marketing tool for AI's commercial success. David's cd is by far, in my opinion, one of the best efforts by any AI contestant this year. David is a very gifted vocalist with a great future in music. David Archuleta's debut album is pretty good. He is a talented singer. The highlight here is "Angels". He makes me believe there are angels out there protecting me. My other favorite song is "Touch My Hand". This song is dedicated to his fans. He has a such a strong voice. My other favorite song is "To Be With You". The piano playing is beautiful here. "Your Eyes Don't Lie" is another good song. It has a good beat. I think this song sounds soulful. I like the whistling on this track. "Crush" is a nice love song. David's vocals are so heartfelt on this song. David performed this song on Jay Leno a few days ago. I have liked it ever since then. "A Little Too Not Over You" is a love song with a slight R and B sound. "Don't Let Go" is an upbeat track. I like this song a lot. "Barriers" is a song about the things that prevent people from expressing their feelings to each other. This song is a gem.Free Music Review: Excellent cd for all ages!!

First of all i am a huge fan of david archuleta, and yea i am a few years older then him, but his voice is ssso amazing it gives me the chills. I wanted the cd so bad i payed for it to have 1 day shipment. And i already listened to it, like three times. If you actually look up his lyrics and understand them, they are really well done. David did an excellent job, even though he didn't win, he has tons of fans out there that still love him. My favorite songs starting with: Angels, Desperate, and of course Crush, it became a huge single for David.. If you're not positive you want the cd, feel free to listen to the samples that are provided above!. Thnx for your time, and God bless.. And keep it going David, great job!!!!
And as said above you are not even close to a five star, you are way more over that.. And one more thing the best thing i like when i got the cd, it has a poster of him inside..
Free Music Review: Worth the Wait!

As a person who has listened and bought many albums throughout the years, I have never anticipated the release of an album as much as David Archuleta's. Even though some of the songs were leaked prior to the release, nothing could prepare me for actually listening to the entire album uninterrupted. David was correct when he said there is something for everyone. The simplicity of You Can is amazing and the harmony in To Be With You is exquisite. Falling is so deep and haunting it gave me chills. Works For Me is an up-tempo song that is one of my favorites. All of the songs add something different to the album and showcase David's musical abilities. David's gift for writing is evident in the songs he wrote or co-wrote and makes me excited to think about what he will do when given time to devote to writing. Congratulations David, Jeff & Jive for making "David Archuleta" an album worth the wait!
