Free Music Review: Amazing First Album!

I have been following Mr. David Archuleta ever since I saw him on American Idol. I am very pleased to finally hear his own music instead of covers. This is an amazing first album, and of course he will just get better as his music career continues. My top 5 favorites are: Touch My Hands, Barriers, My Hands, Your Eyes Don't Lie, and Angels.
Overall, this album is amazing and in my opinion everyone should buy it. The only thing that disappoints me is that none of his bonus songs are on the album. I think that Waiting For Yesterday and Let Me Go should have definitely been one of his final songs. Otherwise, this is probably one of my favorite all time albums!

I would recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys fun, pop songs and beautiful slower acoustic music. Archie's voice is simply fantastic! Anyone who gave this CD a 1 star review does not recognize the beauty and uniqueness of Archuleta's voice. You may not like this style of music, but 1 star? Not with that voice. He reminds me of Karen Carpenter a bit, in that she recorded some really BAD songs (Goofus? Intermission? Calling Occupants?), but regardless of the songs themselves, her voice was SO compelling and beautiful. For me, Archie is the same way. It's true that I don't love all of the songs on this CD, but his VOICE makes up for that! 5 stars.Free Music Review: Amazing debut!

I was counting down the days till this CD came out ever since I first saw David on American Idol. I was not disappointed! His voice has such a gorgeous quality to it, I could listen to it forever. If you have been a fan of David, then I think you will like this CD. Personally. my favorite songs are Desperate, Touch my Hand, Crush, Barriers, and A Little too not Over You. I also love his rendition of Angel, which is a little different from the American Idol version he recorded.I think this CD was what most of David's fans were expecting of him and he did not disappoint. I was anxiously awaiting David Archuleta's CD and even pre-ordered it before it was even officially named! Being in my 50's I wondered if at only 17, he would bore me with his music! I was NOT disappointed in any way. I loved his singing on American Idol and this CD goes so much farther to prove why I did. The pure & sweet notes that come out of this young man's mouth is pure pleasure to listen to! I haven't taken the CD out of the player since I received it! This is a CD that you will want to listen to over & over again without ever tiring of it! With his voice, David will have a long & successful career in music!! First of all. I never write reviews on anything yet here I am feeling the need to express my hope and confidence in a voice that 'clearly' soars above the rest.
I have not purchased a CD since (embarrassingly enough) about 1989, but I will be buying David Archuleta's tomorrow. He has a wonderful and crisp sound that shows off his ability to pull his crowd in for a closer look at his talent.
I came across his 'crush' video through youtube and was as he put it 'mesmorized' by this boy and his great voice. If you haven't taken a closer look, from one who knows, I would say that David is the real deal.
