As a "beginner" this was a great intro to Bowie's career in chronological order. I boight this after seeing him in concert and just had to have more of the excellent music David Bowie churned out and continues to. The 2 CD set is awesome, in that it gives you something from pretty much every album from Space Oddity to Heathen. This man is respected. He's respected by black white brown and yellow alike. He is respected in a dress as well as manly man clothing. this record shows exactly why. from the prog. rock of Changes, to the Dance/R&B of Let's Dance, you have nothing but fun with this cD. it's a great listen, front to back. I'm not much of a fan of David Bowie!But i figured that i'd buy one cd of him so i got the best one i could get! His music is ok but i'm more into people like acdc, Poison, & ozzy! But whenI purchaced (3)sets ,one for myself and the other two as gifts,I discovered the booklet(with all song data/info)packaged into each set was from the SINGLE CD VERSION BEST OF BOWIE. Boy, everybody is putting out CD sets of GHs... this one is a keeper for sure...David Bowie was an original, nobody like this guy.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!
