This album is maybe 4/5 but some songs are 6's. Album is somehwat similar and equal to the newer Grown Backwards. Though I think that both Great Intoxication and Desconocido Soy are incredible songs. if you, at all, like david byrne get this now!!! It is definitely his best solo album...though, i DO like feelings and his self-titled one very much.
And i don't care what some crazy people say...David has an AMAZING voice! Just TRY not to sing along!

This is not "avant garde rock" just clever pop music with attractive instrumentation & interesting arrangements. Byrne's music extends "rock" beyond conventional forms by offering an eclectic but tuneful mix of songs. Well worth the purchase.
