Free Music Review: Just because you like comedy doesn't mean you're good at it.

OK, of course this album is great but when the hell did people
decide that due to the fact that they like comedy that they should attempt it in a review on Amazon? Virtually none of these reviews are even worth a smirk and really you all should leave it to the people who are good at it.
To give you a comparison - just because you happen to listen to
The Who doesn't mean you should attempt to do the guitar windmill like Pete Townshend. Enjoy it, but don't try to emulate it. You just end up looking like the drunk goofball at the show that's air guitaring.
On a side note, if you like facts, humor and sense in your outlook on life then this album is a great addition to what you already feel.

This set FAR outclasses "Shut Up," because it is more focused, less stoned, and more political. The bit where he imagines Bush as a despotic king is just about the funniest thing you've ever heard, except maybe for the Trent Lott on BET bit. Ditto for the first ever truly ACCURATE assessment of the true nature of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and what their fame says about the decline of our culture. ESSENTIAL LISTENING. TRUTHFUL IN THE VEIN OF LENNY BRUCE AT HIS BEST. THERE'S NO ONE ELSE OUT THERE RIGHT NOW WHO'S WILLING TO BE THIS EXTREME, THIS SHARP, OR THIS HONEST. This is a comedy CD that you will actually play MULTIPLE TIMES, something that doesn't often occur.
BUY IT.

I haven't even heard this cd, but the prvious reviewer is a moron. To hear such ignorance and blind obedience is disgusting. Oh i forgot he is from the "progressive site of Mississippi". Just because someone brings forth important issus and sheds light on the truth, dos not makle them anti-american, or even unfuuny. And you are F...ing crazy if you think that George W would never lie...Come on, do not be such a tool. He is a POLITICIAN. As for the Cd, David cross rules!!! we should all burn your house down and and rejoice in having one less idiot in the world!!!!P.S. if you don't like something you don't give it 5 stars (damn mississippi idiot)

I purchased this CD about a month and a half ago with an extensive, albeit Mr. Show inspired knowledge of David Cross' comedy. I'd seen a couple of comedy specials he'd done for HBO, so I sorta expected him to do a couple of skits and what-not. Man was I blown away when I heard this CD. This guy is hi-larious. His comments on politics, the war, religion and other socially relevant topics are not only remarkably prescient, but hysterically made. He skewers the right and Bush for their homophobia, hypocrisy and hatred. His rendition of Trent Lott going on BET is hysterical. If you buy any comedy CD this year, this is the one.Free Music Review: Will David Crossburn in hell?

I don't know about you, but last time I checked I don't think 'intelligentest' was a viable word in the dictionary. Still, I guess bushisms from a bush fan are kind of apt. Sorry to hear you hate David Cross. So why did you then give him five stars? Duh! Personally, I think David Cross is a very articulate, intelligent, well-informed comic who uses humour to pierce those who are self-inflated, arrogant and present themselves as holier-than-thou. If you don't like it, stick to the Fox news or even better, Dr. Laura Schlesinger and her hilarious worldview. All I have to say is, God bless David Cross and his iconoclastic ways.
