David Cross excels both as a writer and as a performer on this incredible album. Listen to this album ten times and you might start to feel afraid to meet someone so corrosively angry in person, but strong opinions only make for better comedy. It's pretty clear this album has polarized people who have listened to it. I think it's one of the funniest albums I've ever heard, and at 2 full CDs, it's way too short. He will tell you every facet of a joke before you get to the punchline, and the joke itself is its own punchline. Some harsh yet hilarious images painted up by a comic artist. I don't normally laugh at jokes but this CD is some of the funniest stuff I've heard. My mom got me into Mr. Show and David Cross. I began listening to this CD and ther's not a weak bit or punchline inthis entire album. I've lived in Atlanta my entire life and I was fortunate enough to see the show that this is partially taken from (with Atlanta favorites Ultrababyfat opening). Now that we have a Republican governor, we need this CD even more. Save us, David! Show us the way!
