I bought this album because of that young singer, Charice. I've seen her on Oprah. What a talent!!! We've never seen somebody like her in a long time. A true heir to the throne of Whitney, Celine and Mariah. I was not disappointed with the quality of this product. I believe this is the first CD that Charice has been a part of here in the United States. I can't wait for her solo album. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be superb. Oprah said that David Foster has been working with her and with the kind of music that he's done in his career, Charice's songs will definitely be ones to remember and will live through generations just like Mr. Foster's Bodyguard medley that is included in this wonderful CD/DVD. Thank you, David. This is indeed a wonderful compilation of your life's work. More power to you and to your protege, Charice. May you and Oprah have God's blessing and guidance in showing this spectacular girl to the world. Thank you for the memories you've made us remember through the songs featured on this special CD/DVD. My mother, sister and I all own this DVD/CD set. The talent demonstrated is unbelievable. David Foster has an unmatched ability for spotting star quality in young singers/musicians. The only problem with this set has nothing to do with the performances, it's a defect in the DVD of a particular lot. Both my sister's and mother's DVDs started to skip right away and continued to deteriorate to the point they became unwatchable. It was almost as if it began to self-destruct, for lack of a better word. I bought this set to replace my sister's defective one, and unfortunately, it is apparently of the same lot as her previous one. The numbers are the same, and it skipped the very first time we watched it. They seem to be pushing their Blue-ray edition much more, so maybe they're aware of the problem and are discontinuing this set, but for those who do not own a Blue-ray, this DVD/CD set is very impressive if you are lucky enough to get a good lot.Free Music Review: Volume II?

Watched the PBS special over and over and each time I enjoy and observe and am blown away by another nuance of brilliance I missed before. Any music archivist has to have a copy of the dvd for the watermark standard he sets and the historical value. The performances illustrate that no facilitators of genuine music artistry have the legacy of hands on propulsion of pop music icons like David Foster. His ear for perfection coupled with musical warmth is so evident here through every single detail from such a remarkable spectrum of gifted and successful musicians. I had to come out of review retirement to write this one. The range over hours of entertainment barely scratched the surface of his influence and leave a viewer wanting more so we'll be as delighted with a volume 11 and 111 that includes additional performances by artists featured here and so many other of the artists affected by his influence.Free Music Review: AWESOME!

David Foster is not only a master, but a legend in the music industry! It's a great CD/DVD combo that has so many great songs sung by various superstars. And yes, the new upcoming superstar - Charice - she's so lovable, imazing, and extremely talented. Thanks David for taking Charice under your wings and giving her a chance to succeed in her dreams! I had watched Charice's documentary on Oprah's and I was moved and deeply touched by Charice's determination against adversity in her life to help her Mom. She deserves all the wonderful things in life coming her way now.
To everyone who is still in doubt, buy this CD/DVD to support not only David, but young, talented artist like Charice. It is a small investment that you'll treasure and listen and watch time and time over.
I am looking forward to your next great collection.
Free Music Review: Best DVD of 2008

I had always been a fan of David Foster's music, and it was a fantastic surprise to see many of his most wonderful songs in one DVD, performed by several of today's top artists. You will not be using the "FF" button on your remote control with this DVD. However talented Charice is (and she is indeed very talented), the highlight of this DVD are Andrea Bocelli's performances. The Italian tenor is in a league of his own, his voice and emotion second to none, and in this set, he sings three songs that highlight his immense qualities: "Amapola", "Because we believe", and an incredible version (maybe the best) of "The Prayer". Only complain is that Peter Cetera's songs are all abbreviated versions. Wonderful DVD to play over and over again, and to give as a present. The CD is also nice but it only has a few songs.
