Free Music Review: Amazing Surprise! Incredible Entertainment!

I was not familiar with David Foster, at least not by name, before this album/dvd. But i read a review of it in some publication and decided to order it --- and what an incredible piece of entertainment this is! A CD which I can play in my car and two hours + of DVD entertainment to watch and cheer. Everyone was amazing. Michael Buble, Charise, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, the orchestra, David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, Katheryn McPhee, Blake Shelton (gorgeous!) everyone! I just could not believe what a terrific purchase this was. I highly recommend this to music lovers because this was pure music! loved the selections, voices, orchestra, everything. I was very touched by the sincerity and energy of the performances, and in learning who David Foster was and the role he has played in so many musicians' careers! I had no idea. The entire concert was a surprise at every turn. The variety covered just about every style of music, and the show is well titled, because they all seemed very fond of David and of each other. This is a magical show we enjoy pulling out to share with others in our home. Also, a CD to carry in the car is a nice bonus. I sent this DVD/CD set to my daughter for her birthday and she was equally impressed. Don't hesitate to buy this. A couple of the artists were new to me, and I loved it so much I soon ordered their CD's as well.Free Music Review: Fabulously Entertaining...over and over again!

I purchased this CD after seeing the concert on PBS in November 2008. I knew I had to purchase it for my parents (ages 70 and 75...very, very hip grandparents) because I know they enjoy the type of music David writes/produces.
I loved it so much that I bought it for myself (age 45)
David Foster is an absolute genius and a spectacular showman.
I love all the music he has written, produced,etc. My children (three boys ages 10, 5, 5) love watching the DVD and enjoy all the music. This is a great way to get children involved in meaningful music.
I would recommend this DVD/CD set to everyone!
You won't be disappointed!

Free Music Review: Great concert DVD/CD

If you are a fan 80's music, you will probably love this DVD. David Foster either wrote or produced every song in this 2 hr. concert. Included are great performances by Celine Dion, Peter Cetera, Kenny G, Brian McKnight and Boz Skaggs. There is also new talent like Katherin McPhee, Josh Groban Michael Johns and Michael Buble' to name a few. And an incredible performance by Andrea Bocelli. An added treat is Charice, the 16 yr. old sensation from the Phillipines with incredible range that sings some Whitney Houston classics.
David fills in nicely between performers with anecdotes and memories from when the songs were hits. A great concert that you will watch twice, before storing away.

David Foster is simply the best producer and composer in the music business. I never realized how many artists he has worked with. I love all the tracks on here. I loved watching the performances on the DVD. Charise is the young teenager with the big voice. I love the way she belts out these classic Whitney Houston songs. Michael Buble croons his easy listening hit tune "Home". I love this song so much. The DVD brings back a lot of music I grew up with. I love Cheryl Lynn's disco classic "Got To Be Real". Boz Scaggs performs his hit song "Love Look What You Done To Me". This song is so moving. "The St. Elmo's love theme" is beautiful. I love all the music on this CD and DVD combo.
