I was given a taped version of Very Greasy from a friend in 1989. I played it often that summer and it was an immediate favorite. I hadn't listened to Lindley for almost 18 years but heard a store playing El Rayo-X recently and it kindled my curiosity. I ordered El Rayo-X, Win This Record, and Very Greasy from Amazon. I've been in Lindley heaven ever since. I like the other two CDs but Very Greasy holds the winning hand for music that just makes you want to dance. The music is great and the lyrics delivered by David's voice make this a party that sounds as great in 2007 as it did in 1989. A real masterpiece!
