I was very glad to find this album,I had been reading about it on the web, but could never find it in the store. I found it on a site to download to my computer and my mp3 player, so i have listened to it many times and I love this album because it shows the range of material that David Ruffin is capable of doing. I play this all the time no matter where I am I take it with me everywhere. I have the vol 1 disc as well and i say both are first rate and most definetly this one vol 2 as well as vol 1 are musts for your collection if you are a David Ruffin fan or a temptations fan in general. Van McCoy had produced, composed, arranged and conducted 3 albums for David Ruffin on Motown. Of the 3 albums, only the first one was a huge hit nevertheless, the performances and the orchestrations are timeless throughout all of the recording sessions. The music for all three are included in this collection plus, a dozen or so various unreleased soulful gems. The McCoy sessions were Ruffin's last releases for Motown. All are remastered in 24 bit with nice liner notes and packaging from Hippo Select. Outstanding!
