This soundtrack takes me back to the Survivor days of yesteryear. I bought this because I was a fan of the show, and I can't stop playing it. From the first track to the last, you'll remember all the best moments of "Survivor" history. I personally still choke up every time I listen to "Tally The Vote". This is one of those "gotta-have-it" Soundtracks that will be a GREAT addition to your collection. I HIGHLY recommend this CD, whether You're a true-blue "Survivor" fan, or are just discovering the Show for the first time.Free Music Review: Could not survive without it

I am so glad that this music if finally on CD - as a person who is in the car 3 hrs a day this is a great escape - I can listen to this music and really experience the island - it really allows me to escape from the harsh traffic world that I live in. I find it very uplifting and soothing - it also allows you to mentally create you own personal island experience. The tribal council music really set the the tone for me - All in all the cd is definatley 5 star in my book.Free Music Review: It hasnt left my CD player

The immediate thing you do after getting this soundtrack is to skip to Ancient Voices. After reliving the opening of the show you start to go through the cd from start to end. It is great to listen to the cd, actually knowing where the music was on the show. It has been in my CD player for 5 months now. Loved the show? Then get this because I cant praise it enough. If you're worried that you'll only like the one theme song then dont worry any more because it's all great!Free Music Review: Great kid album

My 5-yr-old son got this for his birthday and looooves it. So do his little friends. They've never seen the CBS show (of course) but they love pretending they're castaways and foraging for food on an island. This album plays a big part in their games. And believe me, it's a heck of a lot better than listening to the usual kiddie music. You know, the kind that makes you feel like you're in "A Clockwork Orange"? I totally recommend this for any parent.

If you are like me (a die-hard fan of the hit CBS television series) then you will want to own a copy of the soundtrack. This awesome CD includes 19 amazing tracks in all, which were heard throughout the show. Perhaps the best song is "Ancient Voices" which is the theme song of the show. The emotions that composers Russ Landau and David Vanacore put into the songs are simply breathtaking. In short, the show was great and the music is even better.
