Free Music Notes for Have You Ever Touched a Dream?Free Music Review: Perky Whining. Hit: 3 StarsOverall an uplifting record with a good beat. Some repetitive whining that gets old but I've had the Absorber- Mon Ami remix on repeat for months!
Free Music Review: Catchy dance pop Hit: 5 StarsI recently discovered Day Behavior when I heard a remix of their song of "Close Your Eyes" on the latest cd by DJ Copper Top. I absolutely was hooked by the catchy hooks. Normally my taste in muisc leans towards EBM, goth, and industrial music but I occasionally will dabble in the poppier side of dance music. I recently got a copy of the Scandinavian's album "Have You Ever Touched a Dream?". I was hooked the moment I heard the opening song "Give Me". I love the lush female vocals and the gentle throbbing dance beats. My favorite songs are the more upbeat songs like "Give Me" and "Close Your Eyes" but I also dug the more downtempo tracks such as "Heaven" and "The Moments I Couldn't Save". I couldn't help but notice on the slower songs a slight resemblence to Olive and a smidgeon of Solar Twins. "Have You Ever Touched a Dream?" is a fun dance pop album. I enjoy it immensely.
Free Music Review: gross Hit: 1 StarsThis is not even in the same categorie as Iris depeche mode etc. This is euro dance crap. I think that to much of this euro dance is being lumped into the same genre of music as the groups I mentioned and that is sad. Just because there are keyboards and its dance music does not mean its in the same genre as Iris de/vision etc.
Free Music Review: Have You Ever Touched a Dream? Hit: 5 StarsI've come to rely a great deal on A Different Drum to provide me with good, quality synthpop-styled music that rarely disappoints. They're a small independent record label that supports and markets groups such as Daybehavior, enabling these talented unknowns to express themselves freely and to actually get their musings out there... I first heard of Daybehavior through an Internet acquaintance who recommended them to me. They said it was "my type of music" and was pretty adamant about it, so with time I listened to samples, liked what I heard, and decided to buy it... Needless to say I was glad I did! Daybehavior's 'Have You Ever Touched a Dream?' swirls with heavenly female voices set to energetic as well as soothing electronics, sounding like an amalgam of Solar Twins and Mandalay with their darker down-tempo/trip-hop melodies, and like ATB/Lasgo with the more uplifting, club friendly dance-pop tracks. The only song that's cast apart from the others is "Devil In Me" which is deeply infused with driving industrial beats.
Free Music Review: amazing music... not Hit: 1 StarsIf you really like stuff that was trendy crap 10 years ago then, by all means, pick up this album. If you like MUSIC try something else.
