Free Music Notes for Into the Labyrinth

Free Music Review: Wow.
Hit: 5 Stars

Back in 1993 I came home late one night from a party. I turned on the tube and there was the video for "Yulunga", on MTV! My jaw was hanging down to the floor. The next day I woke up and the first thought I had was to hear the rest of this album. Strangely enough, the c.d. was available and in the store.

I don't have any review about this music, but I can say that it ,for me, creates an atmosphere thats...blah...blah...blah (I don't know).

If your in need of a new music, I really hope you try this album. The music is super high quality (the whole entire album).

Free Music Review: The Introduce Album
Hit: 4 Stars

The first song, Yulunga, tells everything! Even if the Perry's songs are not perfect, very good of course, Dead Can Dance is one of the greatest names in music of all time!!!

Free Music Review: Legendary music..A call of mother earth..
Hit: 5 Stars

I have memories from this particular lp.It was my first DCD album.Noone ever introduced me with their music.I found them by myself.Back in the 90's there was in MTV an alternative programme who had contributed according to my opinion greatly in giving so much information to us about bands that are highly underground but perform greatly. It was the 120 minutes progamme.I am sure many of you remember it.There i first saw the clip Yulunga.I was so amazed.I had never listened something like that before. So exotic so entrancing so beautifoul..Then i entered into the magical world of DCD and purchased everything they have released. This band is unique.Their music is above any expectations and we thank them for giving us such wonderfull music. As far as the album concern,a trip to a world as it should be,not as it is.Pure ethnic journey..

Free Music Review: I'm grateful for Dead Can Dance.

This isn't my favorite album of theirs, but overall it is still very good. To my ears, "Into The Labyrinth" has a bit more of an earthy, tribal sound than some of their other albums. Not every track does, but many. I would call "Yulunga" the best thing here, with it's beating drums and ancient vibe, and it was a single after all with an amazing video even. "The Umbiquitous Mr. Lovegrove" is probably the closest thing to a pop song, though not one, and I really love the track "The Spiders Stratagem", as it reminds me of old DCD. I'd call this disc a must for previous fans, newcomers might enjoy a collection more.

Free Music Review: Great CD
Hit: 5 Stars

I heard about Dead Can Dance from an online forum. Aparently Travis Meeks from Days of the New is a huge fan. I really enjoyed this music. Do not buy it and only listen once, you will not do yourself or the music a bit of justice. It IS different, but it is also very refreshing. The best comparison, which is a poor one at best, is Enigma. Lisa Gerrard has some amazing vocals, and the male singer, whom I cannot recall, sounds a lot like Frank Sinatra. Lisa has appeared musically on a lot of music, including the movies Blackhawk Down, Tears of the Sun and Gladiator to name a few. This is fantastic background music if want to have a nice relaxing evening, open a bottle of wine and just have deep conversations with your loved one. Beautiful music.
