I think that this album is just as good as their others. It has the potential to be the best, regardless of whether the DKs sold out or not. Even though it is true that they (minus Jello) have sold out, this CD was recorded before they did. So I think reviews concerning how the CD [stinks] because of the selling out factor should be diregarded.This CD is fast paced and has many political lyrics. It's everything that punk should be. It's short, but is still worth every penny you pay, it has stupid songs, some are almost the same, and it's not blink 182 or good charlotte! THIS IS PUNK! So disregarding all other reviews, buy this CD and you won't be disappointed.

Something like Dickens and the Marquis de sade having a speed session on a heironimous bosch garden in space.
The first Kennedys album I bought as a school kid. I loved it and would say in hindsight its there fourth best album after Fresh fruit, Frankenchrist and Plastic surgery.
Its a choice listen with great humour and much better than some of the live album rubbish that has been distributed more recently. Strangly though from watching you-tube footage its clear they were a great live band.. The Big Boys were also great fun and worth checking out.

Yes, I consider this album classic. It was one of my first punk rock albums ever. It didn't leave my CD player ... for months. This album has it all: the serious political and social commentary, the fast music, the kind of creepy lyrics, and even the re-written version of "Uber Alles" named "We've Got a Bigger Problem Now." ("Uber Alles" was about Jerry Brown possibly being President, "Problem" is about Regean actually being President). This album defines punk rock. Anti-establishment. Fast music. I can understand why some people might not like this cd but I actualy think it is a realy good cd. This cd is fast paced and the songs are short but that doesn't make it a bad cd. The great artwork included in the other dk albums are missing but are you buying this cd for the artwork or the cd? Well I hope your buying it for the cd. The prior negative reviews are bringing out the stereotype, that punks are narrowminded and only prefer one type of sound, and they should in no way be taken seriously. When Dead Kennedys experiment with the issues that mattered instead of their old realistic horror punk, with minor hints at some pressing issues, it brings a new refreshing look thst any hardcore DK fan will love this CD.
