Free Music Notes for Forever CoolFree Music Review: This is what cutting edge technology sounds like Hit: 4 Stars
This album is certainly well done and I'm sure if Dean were still here he would get a kick out of it. Great big band sounds throughout except of course the final selection 'Lullaby' which is acoustic. My favorite selections are 'I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face' with trumpeter Chris Botti and 'Baby It's Cold Outside' with Martina McBride. 'I Can't Believe You're In Love' with Joss Stone and 'Everybody Loves Somebody' with Charles Aznavour don't work as well as the rest of the 'guests'. The patter between some tracks is annoying. Other than that, It's well work the price.

Clever recreations using modern technology allowing contemporary artists to perform 'with' the late-Dean Martin. Not all tracks work (i.e., "King Of The Road" with Kevin Spacey), while others add a certain artistic 'spark', notably "Baby-O" with Paris Bennett and "You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You" with Shelby Lynne and Big Daddy Voodoo, to the downright disgusting ("I Can't Believe You're In Love with Me" with Joss Stone). This collection is a good contemporary introduction to the lazy singing style vocal talent that was Dino Martin.
Free Music Review: Dean Martin Great, Others Not so great.... Hit: 4 Stars
This is a good cd but I cant stand Kevin Spacey's play acting as if he is talking to Dean during the recording between songs, in the songs and some after the songs.
I mean when Dean dialogues it sounds fresh and original but when Kevin Spacey says it , it makes it sound stupid
Otherwise this cd is o.k., but Dean by himself on the original recordings are the best.

I was waiting something better
It's not a pure Dino......I wouldn't buy.....
Free Music Review: Karaoke Night With Dino Hit: 2 Stars
Well-intentioned but ultimately disappointing, Dean Martin's "Forever Cool" (2007) offers posthumous duets with contemporary artists ranging from Martina McBride to Joss Stone. What works are the instrumental touches - notably Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's ultra-swinging "Who's Got the Action?" and Dave Koz's smooth sax licks on "Just in Time." In the vocal department, only Paris Bennett's "Baby-O" has any punch. Though an intriguing concept, the digital pairings with Charles Aznavour and Kevin Spacey come across as contrived gimmicks. Dino's a cappella rendition of "Brahms' Lullaby" makes for an effective closer. Hopefully, the Dean Martin Family Trust will assemble a genuine duets album featuring Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Sammy Davis Jr. and, of course, Frank Sinatra. Now THAT would be something!
