Free Music Notes for Photo AlbumFree Music Review: 10 tracks worth your money Hit: 5 Stars
For any of you out there pondering the meaning of human connections, The Photo Album may be the answer, or at least a worthy companion along the way. For the rest of you, it will help you rethink your definition of relationships. For the other 10% of you who just want some ear candy that's not empty calories, this is a satisfying treat. A great listen all around. PS- The Postal Service's (which is also fronted by Benjamin Gibbard)album *Give Up* makes a great addition.
Free Music Review: ANOTHER AMAZING ALBUM! Hit: 5 Stars
Wow. I just got this at a show in Milwaukee on Thursday and I think i've listened to it about 20 times in the last 4 days. So amazing. I think it is a VERY strong effort. I liked the last 2 cds a lot, but this seems a little more upbeat tempo wise than "We have the facts..." Ben writes some great lyrics, and the production is supurb. If you love indie bands, and you haven't heard of these guys yet, where have you been? buy it. it's beautiful, and moving.
Free Music Review: the best band ever..... Hit: 5 Stars
I know that Death Cab's not the typical pop or rock band out there....and that's one of the many reasons I love them! Their songs have a great feeling and mature sound, and yet they're still rock. DCFC isn't one of those bands that lets other people write their songs and play their music....they took care of that themselves. And, amazingly it turned out 10 times better than those pop bands. Definiteley a cd to listen to no matter what mood you're in.
Free Music Review: Wow Hit: 5 Stars
Once again Ben Gibbard and company have released a beautiful recording. For me it's tough to pick out certain hilights of the CD when it all is so well done. Gibbard's lyrics and voice combine to make you feel the emotion he puts into every song. The closing track, Debate Exposes Doubt, along with Why You'd Want to Live Here and Information Travels Faster, is stunning. Just great.
Free Music Review: beautiful...!!! Hit: 5 Stars
i didn't really appreciate this album when i first got it, despite being a big death cab fan. it's a little slower and more cautious than We Have The Facts, but it's much more intricate and beautiful. this album most definately requires several lessons to fully appreciate it. if you're not a previous death cab fan, pick up We Have The Facts first...
