Free Music Review: Welcome To Diva Land Deborah!!!!

Arista pulls off all the stops and brings out the big names in producing to help Canadian Deborah Cox deliever an amazing sophmore record. Most of music's hottest producers are found on this great record. Rodney Jerkins(Brandy, Monica) produced two songs inculding "I Never Knew" which truly test Cox's vocal ability's. The songs melodramtic beat is classic Jerkins and Cox's voice fits right in. The albums first track "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here", a Montell Jordan, Shep Crawford colabration is an R&B masterpiece that has already found it's way to the top of the charts. There are two hip hop tracks on the album produced by DJ Quik and Stevie J (Mariah Carey, Tamia). However the most impressive work on the album is the two Diane Warren penned ballads. Couldn't We, produced by Daryl Simmons is a warm, mid-tempo ballad that has tremendous crossover appeal at AC, Pop, and R&B radio. One Day You Will is a powerful, grand ballad produced by fellow Canadaian David Foster. Cox's brings so much emotion to the single that you surely will feel the power of the song the first time you hear it. The only problem for Arista is deciding what songs to release commercially as there are so many worthy contenders that radio would gobble up. One things for sure, this is a rare and creative set that will definatly establish Debroah as one of music's top diva's!!!!
