Free Music Notes for Necessary EvilFree Music Review: NECESSARY ALBUM Hit: 5 Stars
At 62 years old Deborah Harry never ceases to AMAZE me. For nearly 4 decades Deborah and her Blondie crew have delighted us with one great album after another. "Necessary Evil" is a very necessary album to possess in one's collection. Most CD's only contain about 8 to 10 songs at the most. Deborah has, once again, outdone herself with 17 tracks! 17 INCREDIBLE SONGS ON ONE ALBUM! Necessary Evil is a sophisticated combination of Deborah's many years of cutting edge lyrics, hooks, style, depth and brilliance. My own personal favorites: School For Scandal; Whiteout; What Is Love; Two Times Blue; Necessary Evil and Deep End. The brilliant lyrics on this album show how much thought and work went into this project. Any true fan of Deborah will certianly love this!!!
Free Music Review: We needed an album like this!!! Hit: 5 Stars
This album is Phenomenal!! Thanks to Miss Deb Harris, we needed an album like this to put this music era in perspective. I'm a french-Canadian by the way...but I got ears and I know this is good music. In a time, when everything is more prohibited than the 70s, Miss Harry reminds us about people and politician or specialist who's always in study trying to analyse human beings all the time..be on the net..do sex cam...people don't socialise anymore! Why you should need to go to a bar or a club..when you got a flat screen right there in your home! Nevertheless, it's good music to my ears..and I recognise the Blondie I always known in the 80s... in her lyrics, in her voice..She was Fabulous then..She is now. 5 STAR DEB!!!
Free Music Review: Two Times Blue Indeed Hit: 5 Stars
Debbie's 5th Solo album is one of her best.
I gave 5 stars because nearly every song is absolutely supremely produced and her voice just keeps getting better!
Two Times Blue is the first single which clearly sounds as fresh and new as any of Blondie's New Wave 80's tracks and If I Had You in the style of Blondie's In The Flesh is a cool rocking ballad.
Other standout tracks, are two songs linked by the lyrics Your Too Hot a 'rock song for the strippers'(as quoted by Debbie herself) and a song originally written about Lil' Kim, Dirty & Deep, offer sexy dance rhythms
If you don't buy this cd you'll be two times blue inded
Free Music Review: Debbie is alive..... Hit: 5 Stars
Debbie Harry has put together a recording that represents her well....downtown, clever, edgey, straight forward, versatile, sophisticated, and fun. This is the best solo material she has stacked together. Needless to Say is beautiful, You're Too Hot over the top, White-Out really driving, Love With Vengence sexy and james bond-like, Two Times Blue soaring, School For Scandal is rocking, Charm Alarm fun as hell, Paradise haunting, I could go on....This music is really Debbie with her funky spirit, beautiful voice, and her artistic style. You deserve to own this....buy it for yourself.
