Free Music Notes for Rock of Ages: The Definitive CollectionFree Music Review: Long Live Rock And Roll Hit: 5 Stars
This greatest hits compilation, "Rock Of Ages", showcases the groups most powerful songs. You get the classics that everyone knows, "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and "Photograph", as well as other greats such as "Rock Of Ages", "Bringin' On The Heartbreak", "Hysteria", "Armageddon It", and many more. Anyone who loves listening and singing along to some great rock music should definitely add Def Leppard to their music collection.
Free Music Review: Best of Def Leppard Hit: 5 Stars
Don't waste your time on Vault which is a disappointment. This covers the highlights of the band's career. I became a fan in 1980 when I heard Rock Brigade in a Santa Barbara record store. DL received no airplay for years and I did my best to introduce them to as many people as possible. Their first 4 albums are great, but they got too soft with few or no new hooks after Hysteria. We miss you Riffmaster Clark! RIP.
Free Music Review: Awesome Hit: 5 Stars
Any fan of Def Leppard would love this CD. I am enjoying it immensely. It is interesting how the songs from "On Through The Night" have their original sound which are awesome and songs from "High 'n' Dry" have a distinctly AC/DC sound but still excellent. Beginning with "Pyromania", Def Leppard definitely defined the current sound and every song on the CD is great, even the ones that were not "radio played".
Free Music Review: My youth revisited! Hit: 5 Stars
My husband and I love this cd set. It is great to sit and listen to the music that we remember from our younger more carefree days. The choices for this compilation were interesting, but we like them all. It's fun to hear some of the older music, and listen to the changes that have happened over the years as the band has matured, and as we have. A very enjoyable album for anyone who is a fan of Def Leppard.
Free Music Review: Well put together... Hit: 5 Stars
This is a very impressive Leppard compilation I have purchased recently. I enjoyed the song selection and the accompanying essay. There are thirty-five songs here representative of all the periods in the band's history ,very well sequenced, all amounting to an excellent introduction to a legendary metal band. The packaging is also quite inspired and the picture of the band on the back cover tells a lot...
