D&B were the preiminent white R&B singers. They counted as fans Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Joe Cocker, Dave Mason, etc. etc.
They inspired Derek and the Dominoes. George Harrison wrote with Delaney.(He was Mysterio.)
Bonnie was simply the best white R & B singer ever and maybe one of the best of any color.
The fact that more peolple on't know these two is a mystery to me.
If you do know them, you know how fortunate we were to have the precious few albums they did. This is one of the best.
Don't stop here though. Try them all and you'll be asking yourself; why doesn't everybody know these guys??????

stephen arnade palm bay florida; This is it, the best rock-and-roll from the 70's. Delaney and Bonnie with Dave Mason and Eric Claption. Its live and everyone was at their peak in their career. Dave Mason, Eric, Delaney Bramlett, and Bonnie Bramlett. Delaney and Bonnie combined; Gospel, Soul and Rock-And-Roll. A really unique band !! I read somewhere that the Eric Clapton guitar-solo on the song "I DON'T WANT TO DISCUSS IT", was rated the number one guitar solo ever. Its live, its spontaneous. Unable to purchase this cd which seems so important to all Clapton-fans even in the best equipped music stores in Amsterdam I ordered it through Amazon received it swiftly by mail. Since then I have played it over and over. It captures the energetic performances of a band that knows how to combine musical drive and soulful bliss. As for Clapton: just listen to that solo in 'I don't want to discuss it': without any redundancy this stripped down minimalistic approach epitomizes power and tension in a superbly timed monochordic drone. DELANEY & BONNIE ON TOUR WITH ERIC CLAPTON is Delaney & Bonnie's crowning achievement, as well as one of Eric Clapton's best performances ever. This album features the musicians who would later make up Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs & Englishmen troupe, and the performances are a loose blend of blues, soul, R&B, rock, gospel, and funk. The best song here is "Coming Home", which also happened to be the single that was released. This CD will be well appreciated by anyone who loves Clapton, Leon Russell, Joe Cocker, and/or the Allman Brothers Band.Free Music Review: Great rock n soul

This live performance in england is pure raw energy this album is never boring and not only that they have great musicians on this album they have eric clapton and dave mason from traffic doing the lead guitar work and though not credited george harrison is supposed to be on this album too bonnie has a great powerful voice she sings beautiful if you like to rock and you love soul buy this album and song number 4 i dont want to discuss it there are some killer blues licks enough said just buy the album
