Styx has long been my favorite band, with an unprecedented (or subsequently matched) 5 consecutive multi-platinum albums!But this album (as well as his double disc compilation of old Styx hit all with new arrangements and an orchestra) reminds one that HE IS the genius driving force of Styx with his song writing AND vocal prowess. Great new tunes!

If you enjoy Styx than this is such a treat. Dennis Deyoung has never sounded better. The lyrics are insightfull and clever, the melodies capturing with hooks that will grab you from the start. Most albums have a number of forgettable songs in the play list. This is not one of them. each track is different yet distinctly recognisable and I can "hand on heart" say there isn't a track that is any less than supurb.
BUY IT!!!

I could probably type a few pages of review about a great album this is. I won't bore you with that. I'll cut to the chase and give it to you straight. This album is as good as ANYTHING Dennis has done, either as a solo artist or as a member of Styx.

I was surprised when I first listened to this CD. I am used to Dennis singing for Styx, but I didn't expect him to mix up his styles as much as he did here. This is a great new CD from Dennis DeYoung and troup. He uses some recent style while at Styx and combines with some new music and comes out with his best solo CD to date. Great music! Keep it coming!
