Free Music Review: excellent compilation/greatest hits, looking forward to number two

this is a career-spanning greatest hits album right up to the newest album "playing the angel". i already own the compilations the singles 81-85 and 86-98, but they do not cover the highlights after that. I think this is a very fitting addition to my collection, with most of their best stuff right here on one disc. Volume two should be excellent, and a completion of what couldnt be squeezed onto this disc.
Additionally the dvd with this is great, a lot of the videos with a few omissions, like "home" and "see you", but hey, there always has to be stuff for volume two. Well worth the investment, and I picked this up for a steal...so buy it now, you will not be dissapointed.

I grew up in the 80's idolizing this band who has a claim for being one of the greatest bands ever. There recent albums haven't been as strong as their 80's and 90's albums but I still enjoy them. Ok, now my subject here is that this is called Best Of Volume 1, will there be a Best Of Volume 2? There's a whole slew of early videos they can include on Volume 2 including See You, The Meaning Of Love, Get The Balance Right, Love In Itself, etc. They can also do a full dvd of all of their UK TV Appearances on shows such as Top Of The Pops. The CD music shows the history with the best of DM. The quality of the sound better than older ones. Also, the versiones included are excelent.
The DVD with videos show the oldest videos and newest, those are not in the last DVD, we can only find those in this DVD.
In conclusion, a good review for collector and perfect beginning for initial fans.

I went and saw Depeche Mode in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City last year and they are still the best ever. The 80's still rock on :) This new CD is awesome. Don't pass this one up!!!!
