Free Music Review: Pointless

Why?
1. It's called #1's, and only has 4 #1 Hot 100 singles; and 1 track that got to #1 on the R&B chart but not the hot 100..... so that's 5 #1's on a CD with 16 tracks. Hmmmmm.
2. It's missing:
No, No, No Pt. 1
With Me Pt.1
Get On The Bus
which I would've thought would be essential inclusions on a Destiny's Child compilation.....
3. Of the 3 "new" tracks; 1 is a reject from "Destiny Fulfilled" ("Feel The Same Way I Do"); another is a Beyonce solo track.....
(now obviously Beyonce is the only member of Destiny's Child who actually has any (negligible) talent; but what is a solo song doing on here? If they were going to include a Beyonce solo song they at least couldv'e included "Crazy In Love", which is better than every single song on here, and unlike most of the songs on here, actually DID get to #1.....)
4. There are no rare collaborations or soundtrack songs included (like "No More Rainy Days" from "The PJ's"; "Perfect Man" from "Romeo Must Die"); and only one song is included from their first album (which seems to me like a deliberate attempt by Destiny's Child & Matthew Knowles to spite the other two girls originally in the group)
5. Most of the album is filler anyway; with non-hits like "Bug A Boo" and "Girl"; and awful songs that shouldn't have been hits like "Cater 2 U", "Soldier" and "Survivor"
The only reason I'm not giving this 1 star is because Destiny's Child DID have a couple of OK songs over the years; and it makes more sense to buy this one lame "hits" album than buying all the even lamer individual albums.
(Altough their good songs are/were so overplayed you're probably sick of hearing them anyway; but.....)

This album sounds are just Second To None. I have played track after track and find the quality to be one of the best CD I have to date
All number one songs with added new songs. The added new songs together with the complete number ONE's, truly makes this their BEST album by far!!
Please buy this without a second thought.

As a casual Destiny's Child fan, this is perfect for me. I admit they might be a tad overrated, but the majority of these songs are still very good. Obviously it's wonderful to have "Bills Bills Bills", "Bug A Boo", "Lose My Breath", and "Stand Up For Love" on the same disc. And who doesn't like "Bootylicious"? I personally can't think of a single track that's missing. This being the end of DC, good luck to the girls in the future, though I doubt Beyonce needs any luck at this point. Overall #1's is a super collection, and will go well with my Mariah Carey and TLC greatest hits. Free Music Review: Excellent Greatest hits CD.... they came a long way....

destiny's child is by far one of my favourite acts of all time. they come out with hit tracks like its nothing... beyonce, michelle, kelly, latoya, & latavia make destiny's child and they handled their business... this #1s LP is ACTUALLY a #1s LP not like other artist that consider their songs hits or #1s.... all of these song DID NOT hit #1 on the billboard top 200 but they all hit other #1s (dance, adult contemporary, urban, pop, and television charts)
my favourite song they have ever done has to be 'lose my breathe' this is the hardest fastest song they have ever done... the marching band, the horns, the girls singing voices, the arrangement, etc. this song is soooo perfect!!! very different from all their other songs.
'survivor' still gives me chills after all these years.
'independent woman pt. 1' timeless beat
'say my name' their grammy winning song with tight harmonies
'no no no pt. 2' introduces the girls in the right way
'cater 2 u' is just brilliant
'jumpin jumpin' still a great party jam
the only songs i dont care for were 'girl' 'emotions' and 'bug a boo'. but it seems that they are missing one hit. 'get on the bus' was a smash in europe and asia but here but i guess they are counting the ones here in the states.
the 3 new tracks are great. 'check on it' f/ slim thug is my favourite of the three... 'stand up for love' is a great inspirational song that can influence anyone to do good. 'feel the same way i do' is a off beat jam that can be heard blasting through any car...
destiny's child #1s is a great collection of hits throughout their career and can go into any cd collection.
5 stars out of 5: there is at least one song here that you like....
