Free Music Review: Just what I needed

I ordered this cd with no knowledge of what it sounds like or what it even contained. I'll be attending school to become a Massage Therapist this Fall and I wanted to jump start my music collection. After reading the reviews, I went ahead and bought it. I am so glad that I did. The music is very smooth and it flows from one portion to the other, meandering through your mind like a feather in a breeze. The artist used a guitar for many of the sounds, but they are only soft "plucks" and reverberations. There is even rain in one track that makes it even more calming. This is a great cd for any kind of relaxation or meditation and it plays for a good hour. I will definitely order the next two very soon.Free Music Review: Excellent Massage CD

I will admit I wasn't entirely sure about purchasing this CD without first being able to listen to samples, but it was well worth taking the chance.
The music is not only beautiful but incredibly soothing.
I received the CD today and immediately tried it out during the massage I had scheduled with a client this evening.
The time of the CD coincided perfectly with the time the massage was to take, eliminating the need to look at the clock to make sure you aren't going over in time.
I would most definitely recommend this to any Massage Therapist looking to add to their music library, or anyone who just wants some great music to relax to.

Detaching the World is a great relaxing music series that I recently discovered on amazon. I've been a CMT for 25 years and have yet to come across any type of music like this up until a few months ago. After spending hours, days, weeks, months and years on amazon constantly searching for new artists, I finally went with this series. Appropriately named Ambient Guitar, Detaching the World is anything but new age. It has luscious gentle guitar sounds that sooth the ear and help release any unwanted tension in the room. For under $19 with shipping and over 60 minutes of soothing guitar sounds, you can't loose with this CD! It's picture perfect:)

I am writing this review of Detaching the World vol. 1 on behalf of myself and the staff at our facility, Impressions Spa & Massage. Therapists, guests, everybody seems to have something positive to say when this CD is being played. You can almost see the tension lifted off our clients as they leave our treatment rooms in a dazed blissful state. Mostly I attribute the "tension lifting" to the wonderful therapists we have on our staff but I do know this CD should get some of the credit. It provides the perfect background environment, especially for massage, so you don't have to "think" about the music. As a massage therapist I can honestly say that this cd is perfect. With its consistancy and balance, my office space in which I practice massage is turned into a heaven-like atmosphere. This music works especially well with (but not limited to) Reiki, Craniosacral & Thai massage because of its soothing & calming tones. I would think that it would also work well with hypnotherapy, meditation, yoga, tai chi, etc... My clients often times choose this music for their session knowing that it's so peaceful. It's a great purchase!
