This CD is by far the most relaxing and ambient music. Not only do I play this CD for my massage clients but I play it at home as well. I'm 5 months pregnant and put Detaching the World on with headphones to go on my belly for my baby to hear in the womb. I plan to use this music while I give birth as well. It's hard to find the right music out there that can be integrated into so many life situations, but this CD does it all. It's calming, peaceful and grounding. Detaching the world defines that place that I only go to late at night, when I'm finally home from work, dinner has been made and cleaned-up after, the bills have been paid, the laundry has been finished, and there is time to "just be." It is rare and wonderful to find music that helps slow it all down. This music creates a mood in which I can think about my life in a detached but real way.
