Free Music Notes for Metalocalypse: Dethalbum AlbumFree Music Review: Dethklok.......does it really deliver? Hit: 3 Stars
This CD is a real mixed bag for me; let me first say that Brendon Small is an incredibly talented musician. Now, this is a mixture of incredibly boring songs that seem to go on and on and never end, and some really awesome songs that seem like metal anthems sometimes. The best song is without a doubt Thunderhorse; but there are few tracks that are as great or come close to being as great as that song.
I personally don't understand why some people worship this album like it's the rebirth of American metal, which it clearly is not.
If you loved this album, I suggest Demigod by Behemoth With Oden on Our Side by Amon Amarth, Something Wild by Children of Bodom, pretty much anything by Vader, and anything by Arch Enemy(except Doomsday Machine). Those albums with almost make you forget about this.
