Even if you aren't a fan of the show you'll love this. That is as long as you have a dark sense of humor, because this CD is chock full of cheesy ultra-violent lyrics and bonecrushing beats. Think Spinal Tap only 10 times heavier and you have Dethklok. Favorite tracks for me are "Go Forth And Die" and "Face Fisted". Not a joke at all. The music is really good for a cartoon band.Free Music Review: Release... THE KITTIES!

Though not a Metal fan, it's been great to get to hear the full songs behind the episodes of Metalocalypse - all those short snippets on-screen are actually full songs. 'Mermaider,' 'Go Into The Water,' and 'Dethharmonic' are my favorites off the album. 'Mermaider' is especially hilarious and well-done.

I absolutly love the Metalocolypse show. I feel like it was made especially for me. The album is freakin' great! The only thing I didn't like was that some of the songs that I wanted weren't on the regular CD, only on the Deluxe edition. bummer. Never watched the show, but listened to the album and liked it, so I got it. Too bad the special edition is so hard to find / way too expensive. The extra tracks are good.
