Free Music Review: DO YOU WANT SOME 5 Stars

this version is a hard one to find in stores, i know you can order it off the net now, but man, it took me forever to find a site online to find it for a decent price. got it last year sometime in the summer i think, and only paid 17 bucks for it. its worth getting the deluxe edition of this because of the bonus material on the second disc. i love this band, even though its a cartoon, it makes me laugh at how true it is in the parody of death metal (even though i am a fan of all metal personally, if you cant laugh at the music you like, then what can you do?) cant wait for the new season to start on sunday, hopefully a second season dvd will come out soon? i can only hope!

Free Music Review: Small creates not only a hilarious parody, but extremely good songs in their own right
Hit: 5 Stars

While Brendon Small(creater of Dethklok/Metalocalypse) has a background in music, it is strange to think that a comedian could put together an album as great as this. Not only are the lyrics absolutely hilarious in keeping with the parodic tone of the series, but the music itself is top of the line metal/hard rock. Highly recommended for any fan of Metalocalypse(particularly if you can get ahold of the deluxe edition which features some extremely amusing bonus tracks) or even someone who just wants a damn good music album.

My only complaint is that the album lacks the instant classic "Scubba Tank filled with Farts".

Long live Dethklok.

Free Music Review: Masterpiece
Hit: 5 Stars

This is defintely one of the best albums I have ever heard, every song rocks so hard. This is one of those albums that you listen to and with each song you think that song is your favorite, but then the next song beats it and you like the next more. There isn't a song on here that I didn't love, just bought the album and have already listened to it twice. The music is some of the best you can hear. My two favorite songs have to be "Better Metal Snake" and "The Lost Vikings". This is a definitely have to have, especially if you love the TV show. You don't even have to see the series to like this CD, it is just pure awesome that every metal fan's gotta have

Free Music Review: Wow
Hit: 5 Stars

How sad is it that the most metal album of the year is by a band that really doesn't exist? That being said this album is amazing. Before this i had been listening to DragonForce - Inhuman Rampage to satisfy the lack of good metal guitar. I seriously hope they have a second album for Dethklok when season 2 ends.

Side not the Deluxe edition not being printed enough is just a small sour note. ignore the fools on hear and ebay selling for $50-$300. They really are printing more. Plus if you have that kind of cash, get the regular and go on itunes and dl the deluxe edition. That should tied you over till the next batch of the deluxe is released.

Free Music Review: My ears bled, in a good way
Hit: 5 Stars

After watching the series, I knew I had to get their CD. The CD is awesome, comes with pretty well all the songs in the first season. The bonus disc is just as good as the first disc. It has alot of funny material on it, the only thing I didn't like is how they didn't have the song were they're talking about sewing their chef back together. I gave this CD 5 stars because it's well put together, it has a lyric book, bonus tracks are all good, and the music video is awesome. Also, I saw these guys live, with Chimara and Soilent Green, probably the best show ever. Again, funny, but also really heavy, and one of the best mosh-pits ever.
