Remember when Bob Dylan started playing with a full band with electric guitars? Remember how many people rejected it yet even more people embraced it? I have a feeling that with Devendra's new album "Cripple Crow" we'll see something similar, the only difference is that people won't be rejecting it at all. Banhart is growing as a musician, a songwriter, a poet and an entertainer. He's discovering exactly where he stands in today's music world and he knows he must grow better with each album, and he is, it's a conscience effort and you can hear it in this album.
There's no reason why you should not like this album.
