Free Music Notes for Q: Are We Not MenFree Music Review: Did Someone Say, "Genius At Work"? Hit: 5 Stars
Did someone say, "Genius At Work"? If so, I second that emotion. Unique lyrics, driving rythm - out of control but 100% in control. This is one of the special works we've heard. Who would dare do "Satisfation"? Devo. Who could pull it off? Devo. But that's the least of the accomplishments on this album. Buy it - you won't regret it!!
Free Music Review: grrrrreat! Hit: 5 Stars
Mark Mothersbaugh has possibly the sexiest voice ever when he sings "something 'bout the way you taste makes me wanna clear my throat" in Got a Gut Feeling. This album is Addirol to the ears. If you like Talking Heads or Television, this is a must-have. I want this played at my funeral. But only if I live long enough to die amongst robots.
Free Music Review: Ignore 'Music Fan from Seattle' Hit: 5 Stars
It's spelt RAMONES! This album should be in any true music fan's collection. It was so far ahead of anything being done at the time it's ridiculous. This came out around the same time as The Rolling Stones' 'Some Girls' and it has one of the best covers of a Stones' song EVER...
Free Music Review: Q: Is this not the best Devo album? A: It sure is! Hit: 5 Stars
It is my opinion that this is Devo's best album ever! Freedom Of Choice would be my next choice. My favorite songs on here are Come Back Jonee, Mongoloid, and Uncontrollable Urge. Devo is brilliant! They are the new wave pioneers!!!
Free Music Review: Devo begins it's mission Hit: 5 Stars
Though the spudboys lost some of their mutation in their later years, here they are starting out strong. This is a must-have for anyone that doesn't know the truth about devolution.
