Free Music Notes for All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole TrioFree Music Review: Class and Verve Hit: 5 Stars
The cat has long been out of the bag, but if you haven't given this great CD a listen, you don't know what you are missing. My favorite track is Diana's thoughtful rendition of I'm Thru With Love. She has taken an old pop ditty (formerly done by Bing Crosby, among others) and made it her own wistful love song. In my mind, this CD is superior to her follow-up, "Love Scenes," but believe me, if you buy this one, you will want to get all of her recordings.
Free Music Review: it still lingers on.. Hit: 5 Stars
From the good old days when music was still music ,Diana brings back the best. The piano style of Nat King Cole transforms into magic under the fingertips of Diana. Its impossible to say which comes on top.Her quiet ,sure ,mellow voice ,or the notes of the piano. But,in the end it gives you some hope- real music will never die ,at least untill we of the old,old generation are able to hear and love it.All of yo is reaaly for All of me.Thanks,Diana.

Free Music Review: Best of the Jazz Girl's Greats. Hit: 5 Stars
I'm a die-hard fan, but this is a CD I had skipped buying because it's a tribute CD. I figured the sound couldn't be that fresh, and I couldn't have been more wrong. From "An Errand Girl for Rhythm" on, the music flows as naturally as if it was created for DK to perform. I've found I listen to this set more than any other set she has done, and I have about a dozen of hers ripped to my MP3 player. All around, great set of music that you'll listen to a lot.
Free Music Review: One of the top CD's I bought in 2001 Hit: 5 Stars
I heard All for You for the first time at a friend's house. My taste is eclectic - I have Train, Ella, Savage Garden, Bare Naked Ladies, Alison Kraus and even like listening to "A-team" when my daughter's riding with me in the car (O.K. I admit it!). I lean to jazz - and love jazz piano. Given that - I love this album (and so does my daughter). It gets played more frequently than most of the 20 CD's I bought in the last year. Diana is an original.
Free Music Review: If you only ever buy one jazz album - this is it. Hit: 5 Stars
So the song selection is perfect. The vocal delivery pays tribute to Nat King Cole while adding something uniquely "Krall". The blend of smouldering, sensual ballads and outright in your face swing is spellbinding. But what continues to blow me away is the level of musicianship that allows the toughest trio set-up (piano, guitar and bass) to carry so much rhythm. Two years later - this remains my favourite album of all time.
