I was kinda on the fence about trying out this album but i did. I was deffinately not dissapointed! This has to be Dido's best album. It's sublime, it's subtle and it's powerful. Her voice sounds so ethereal and incredible.
The lyrics of this album really hit home. I absolutely love this album and she's made me into an even bigger fan. I will be waiting with extreme anticipation for her next album. Cause this one was PHENOMENAL

I am giving this cd 5 stars, I bought it on the day it came out.
I gave it a listen, I thought eh.
Listened to it a couple more times and thought eh again.
Didn't listen to it for a while.
Listened to it a few more times this week and I thought wow.
If you really listen to it and pay attention you can tell she really put a lot of thought and work into each one of the songs on the cd.
There are a some little things that are really cool like the breathing during a flute solo. Other folks might have just run it through an editor or used a synthesizer, but I think it really adds to the song.

I bought this CD when it first came out and the more I listen, the more I love it. The songs are haunting and emotional with beautiful melodies. My favorites are "The Day Before the Day", "Look No Further" and "Don't Believe in Love" but I can honestly say that I like all the tracks on this CD. Some are lighter, happier tunes and others seem very introspective and sad. I've been a Dido fan since her first CD and "Safe Trip Home" has only reinforced my feeling that she is one of the more talented singers out there today.Free Music Review: The Odd-Numbered Tunes are Great . . .

After listening to this CD a few times, I realized that the filler had to go. I made a mix of the odd-numbered tunes: 1,3,5,7,9,11. Beautiful, lovely, varied, her talent, depth and celtic touch really shows through. I don't know what is the story with the other tunes but they are just too monotonous, slow-moving, non-melodic for me. Maybe over time I will seek them out. But I fully enjoy the ones I am listening to now. Dido's great, deep, no one else out there compares.Free Music Review: Dido

Awesome CD. Well worth the wait. Each track is better than the next. Once again - Dido has the voice of an angel. There is no one out there that can compare to the style of Dido. Her style takes you to places that are sometimes way too hard to reach on a basic humanistic level Emotionally-creatively-wow! This is indeed another Dido classic. Can't wait for her to release her fourth CD. Thank you God for giving us Dido! What a talent!
